AAGC CONFERENCE 2020

AAGC is pleased to announce the 2020 annual conference, Gifted 2020: Envisioning the Possibilities, on October 15-16, 2020.  With the many, varied ways schools are educating students, AAGC has envisioned a possibility by moving the conference to the virtual environment.  We have confirmed two exciting keynote speakers: Dr. Del Siegle from the University of Connecticut and Director of the National Center for Research on Gifted Education, and Lisa Yee, award winning author of the Millicent Min, Girl Genius novel.

In addition, we will have a variety of concurrent sessions addressing topics including Instructional Technology, Instructional Resources, Instructional Practice, Identification and Social/Emotional Support.

Join us for session breaks to stretch or laugh, lunch box sessions and a late afternoon creativity session. Grab your swag bag for digital items such as a binder cover, digital stickers, Google Slides templates, and so much more! Purchase your AAGC swag (t-shirts, mugs, bags, and masks) at the Bonfire store. We hope to see you in the Virtual Conference!

 Member cost for the 2 day virtual conference - $90
(includes membership until October 2021).
If you attended conference in 2019, you are currently a member.  You will need to sign in prior to registering. 


 Non-Member cost for the 2 day virtual conference - $115
(includes membership until October 2021)


Registration deadline is Tuesday, October 13th.  

Online payment accepted until deadline. 

Checks, Purchase Orders accepted until Oct. 5th. 

 

When you reach the "Review and Confirm" screen, you may select 'pay online' or 'invoice me' to have an invoice emailed to you.  Make sure to forward the invoice to the person in your school or district responsible for payment.  OR, you may still pay online yourself by clicking on the 'registration details page' link on the invoice (be sure to save the invoice in your email). 

Please be aware that full payment is required by Tuesday, October 13th in order to receive the online access code for the conference.    


Inquiries about Purchase Orders should be emailed to aagc.treasurer@gmail.com. The deadline for all Purchase Orders to be processed is October 5th.

** FYI, there seems to be confustion about Purchase Orders.

It is the school or district's responsibility to generate a Purchase Order, and it is sent to AAGC.  It can be emailed to aagc.treasurer@gmail.com or mailed to the mailing address above. 
Using a Purchase Order requires an extra processing step for AAGC.  Most districts will pay from the invoice created when you register.that is automatically emailed to you.
